Introduction to Artificial Life Model Theory through Coding, 2018

In recent years, “ALife (artificial life)” which approaches the essence of life by simulating its life on a computer, has been attracting renewed attention. This book is a unique one in which you can experience the various theoretical models of ALife such as cellular automata and boid models by implementing them with sample code written in Python.
Compared to AI, which is superior in the ability to organize and “optimise” miscellaneous information, ALife, which is characterized by “creating new nature”, is considered to support a wide variety of creative activities by humans, and its application is applicable to all areas requiring creativity, such as design, games, art, and architecture.
